Gattuso's Revolution: S.S. Lazio Overhauls Defense

S.S. Lazio, 9th in Serie A with 54 points, is overhauling defense with arrival of Alfoso Pedraza. The Spanish left-back, born in 1996, is the first signing of the Gattuso era.

The New Starter

On the left, Gattuso will be able to count on Pedraza, who will wear the biancoceleste jersey after 235 appearances with Villareal. The player arrives on a free transfer and will be the new starter on the left flank of Lazio.

The Left Flank

With Pedraza as starter, at least one of Tavares and Luca Pellegrini will have to leave Rome. The Portuguese player, after a devastating impact in the first months of 2024, did not meet expectations.

The Right Flank

As for the right flank, Marusic has renewed until 2028, while Lazzari is leaving. The player is liked by Sassuolo, Monza and especially Fiorentina.
